National Institute of
Justice
Provides all kinds of useful services and tools for corrections,
which in the arena of suicide prevention includes technical
assistance, training, publication of articles, downloadable videos,
and hosting of internet discussion groups. It also funds the Jail
Suicide/Mental Health Update.

Correctional Oasis Newsletter
A non-profit dedicated to increase the occupational, personal, and
family well-being of corrections and detention staff. Their publication "Correctional Oasis"
has included several articles about suicide prevention (archives at
their web site) and subscriptions are free.

Locate one of the 350 centers worldwide providing a sympathetic ear
and suicide intervention based on listening therapy.
Covenant
House
Young people can contact the telephone advice line and locate help
centers across the country, and parents can also get assistance.

Learn how to tackle the problem of suicidal tendencies using this
approach which offers tools for the depressed and for loved ones.
National

Choose a state for a listing of contact details for agencies
providing long-term suicide prevention programs, educating the
